Every Rose Has Its Thorns
We get tips. We try to check them out. Sometimes you can and sometimes you can’t. We are going to go ahead and print this one. If it turns out to not be true, we can always delete it!
Below is the tip. We edited out the names of the innocent and/or unelected.
Patrick Rose is about to be slapped with an ethics complaint. The e-mail invitations being sent out for his September 9th fundraiser have all been sent from state computers.
The invitations look normal in a regular e-mail client, but when viewed from a Blackberry, the line at top is an array of e-mail coding that reads: “Name Deleted” Rose’s state-paid chief-of staff, a bunch of code about the date, and then…’Texas Legislative Council.’”
That is a big no-no. It was just last week that reported about another issue with his fundraising invites.

Wasn’t it his guy that got busted turning in fake petitions in Hayes County? Seems like he has a little ethics issue amongst staff? I hate to blame staff though, so I’ll just assume he told his CoS to do it.
