Matthew Dowd Recovers His Virginity
Former Democrat and ex-Republican Matthew Dowd of Austin, who helped guide the Bush White House to election, re-election — and on in to Iraq — no longer wants to be in partisan politics, according to the New York Times blog.
Dowd has been hired by another recovering virgin, former pop star Bono, the U2 front man whose NGO “One World” fights poverty around the world.
The last time Dowd found himself “no longer wanting to be in partisan politics” was in 1998, just before Texas Governor George W. Bush launched his campaign to bring sexyback be “a uniter, not a divider.”
“I don’t want to be viewed as a Republican and I don’t want to be viewed as a Democrat,” Dowd told the newspaper of record’s blog. “I’d rather be viewed as a human being.”
Wouldn’t we all.

One Response to “Matthew Dowd Recovers His Virginity”
A Republican friend says this news was not supposed to be public yet. They wanted to wait until the Iraq headlines and 9/11 anniversary past so people would not be reminded of Dowd’s role in the Bush administration. They are not happy that Dowd was unable to keep his mouth shut.
