AstroTurf

Thanks to the blossoming North Loop debate we seem to be hosting, we were pointed to another  fight a little further South.   Local developer CW Capitol Partners put up a fake grassroots (AstroTurf) website to promote their proposed development along Town LadyBird Lake.

Even funnier is who is behind it.  You might remember him from such campaigns as Patrick Rose, Brewster McCracken, Lee Leffingwell and a little phony petition drive in Hays County

  3. I just gave a quick look at Lee Leffingwell’s campaign reports which are posted with others on the Austin City Clerk’s page and find no expenditures to this person of his company. Lee Leffingwell used Archer Nathan and David Butts as his political consultants. Please demonstrate otherwise or change your post.
