Cowering Inferno
San Diego, California, used to be nice this time of year. Cool sea breezes, green golf courses, lots of white people with money. Not for nothing did they call it America’s Finest City.
But nature’s fury has reduced thousands of homes to rubble, killed at least seven, and brought a parade of politicians in to survey the damage with cameras in tow. Whether Austin taxpayers will pay for even more politicians to drop in on the emergency workers trying to help folks put their lives back together depends on who you believe.
On this blog, CM Martinez suggested that the decision hadn’t been made yet.
But InFact Daily suggests otherwise.
