Downtown Traffic Drives Downtown Mayor ‘Round the %$#@*&^ Bend
Da Man’s Tony Plohetski reported this morning on a bizarre incident involving Austin Mayor Will Wynn and his (unprintable) diatribe against a construction crew who made the mistake of blocking traffic at Fifth Street and West Avenue, near his downtown digs.
Meanwhile, tens of thousands of Austin motorists living in outlying neighborhoods are swearing under their breath during their own rush hour nightmare every morning, lunch and ride home. Wynn, who generally strolls a few blocks to his City Hall office, let loose when he was inconvenienced by a heavy truck backing into the construction site across from his downtown loft.

Maybe the city should force Wynn to move to Northwest Hills or someplace off 183 if that is what it takes to get him to do something about the triffic. Yuppie jerk.
