Profile in Courage?

U.S. Senate candidate Rick Noriega isn’t sure whether he will agree to debate primary opponent Ray McMurrey, saying he will “leave the decision on debates to his campaign scheduler.”

The dodge led the Austin American-Statesman to editorialize that “Noriega is not exactly a profile in courage.”

But when it comes to reprimanding his deputy campaign manager for calling incumbent John Cornyn’s office, claiming to be someone else, then lying about it to a reporter, Col. Noriega is all over it.

  2. Everything Rick Cofer touches seems to turn to shit. Noriega’s campaign, Maxey’s campaign, the “no more plastic bags” campaign. How about a new campaign? No More Rick Cofer.

  3. Hmmm…maybe if you used your real name to issue that attack I might lend it more credibility (or are you really a genocidal dictator?). That being said, I think Noriega should debate McMurrey. If he doesn’t, he has no credibility complaining if Cornyn refuses to debate him (remember Rick Perry’s lack of enthusiasm for debating last election).

  4. And then there is also three city council members, a district judge, a county court at law judge, and at least three state representatives that probably appreciate the good campaigns Rick has helped in. I also think plastic bags is going well.
