The betting is it might be Councilman Lee Leffingwell, who has decided to vocally oppose the Villa Muse project along with its purported 40,000 new jobs, not to mention the new taxes destined for Del Valle schools and ACC Wynn support.
Wynn, in trouble again for his quick temper, has been pushing the Villa Muse project and a package of tax credits and other incentives that Leffingwell opposes, at least for now.

Mayor Wynn voted against the Villa Ruse scam. It was McCracken that wanted to give away Austin’s film industry and the income and tax base that it generates.
If you want to understand why Leffingwell and Wynn opposed this rip-off, just try to imagine how Austin would prevent a successful Villa Ruse from incorporating some twenty or thirty years down the line.
