DA Runoff’s Strange Bedfellows
No, we don’t mean the persistent whispers that second-place finisher Mindy Montford is not-so-secretly backed by Republicans and corporate lobbyists - Capitol Annex has that story covered pretty well.
We mean the fact that Bill Noble, main political honcho for voucher advocate Dr. James Leininger, and Louis Malfaro, president of Education Austin and one of the main opponents of… wait for it… VOUCHERS are both supporting Montford.
We just thought that was pretty weird. Guess that makes her a “uniter”?
